ABOUT DOERING TRANSLATIONS
Doering Translations is owned and run by Wiebke Doering (BSc, MA). She is fluent in German (her native language) as well as English and French.
- In 2001 Wiebke graduated from Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg (Germany) as a translator in German, English and French, and also included specialisms in International Organisations and International Law. She is full member of BDÜ (Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators).
- In 2002 she completed a Masters in International Human Rights at Essex University (UK), specialising in Human Rights Law, Politics and Development.
- Between 1990 and 1995 Wiebke gained first hand experience in organic farming in the Republic of Ireland.
- From 2002 to 2015 she worked for several non-governmental organisations in Switzerland as a director and project manager. Throughout this time Wiebke has continued to work as a freelance translator.
This unique combination of translation experience and extensive knowledge of the human rights, agricultural and film sectors guarantees a translation that is not only professional and accurate, but is equal to a text originally written in the language of the target audience
